Our students had wonderful performances, and the combined Grades 4-12 band was a highlight. The Music Department and Music Boosters are grateful for all the support! The 18th annual Music In Our Schools concert will be held tomorrow, March 9th at the BHHS Auditorium beginning at 3:00pm. This event is a district-wide showcase of our students’ musical talents and gives the audience the opportunity to witness the musical growth of students as they advance through the years. We encourage Brandywine families to relax, enjoy all performances, and stay for the day. We hope to see you there!

Music In Our Schools - March 9, 2024'; This districtwide showcase starts at 3:00pm in the BHHS auditorium. Food will be available at 2:00pm
High School Students will be collecting supplies for Safety Net Animal Sanctuary as part of their National Honor Society project. This drive will run from now until March 11 and they will be collecting puppy pads, paper towels, dog and cat food, dog bowls, bleach, treats, dawn dish soap, white vinegar, trash bags, as well as used blankets, sheets, towels, sweaters, dog beds, metal crates, and newspapers. These items can be dropped off in the container located in the IS/MS Lobby. Please help out these students and our furry friends at this amazing, local organization.

The Cascade Brigade is proud to present the 3rd annual Night of the Arts this Friday, February 23rd in the HS Auditorium. Along with juggling there will be music, drama performances, and improv as well as displays of student work in art, graphics, woodshop, and engineering classes. It is a great opportunity to experience the talent in our district. There is no charge for admission and the evening begins at 7PM. We hope to see you there!

World Read Aloud Day is February 7th! There are 173 countries that currently participate in World Read Aloud Day and the Brandywine Heights Elementary and Intermediate Schools are teaming up to celebrate. Classrooms from the two buildings will partner up to share their favorite stories with each other. If you would like to get involved at home, you can find a favorite book or read a new selection together with your child. Reading together is a wonderful experience to learn together, laugh together and spend meaningful time together.

World Read Aloud Day
Girls on the Run is back for our 4th and 5th grade girls! You child will participate in empowering lessons and team building activities that promote self-confidence, kindness and decision making skills. During this 12 week program, your child will build their endurance to run a 5K with other students from neighboring school districts. The race is in May and is a wonderful experience for both runners and the spectators cheering the girls on. If interested, please use the QR code in this post.
