🎓✨ 8th Grade Transition Day ✨🎓
Today we celebrate an exciting milestone as our amazing 8th graders take the next big step toward high school! 💫 From new schedules to new opportunities, this transition marks the beginning of an incredible journey ahead.
They met with our High School Principal, Mr. Dziunycz, and enjoyed a tour of the high school building. Students also explored a variety of sports teams and clubs, learning about all the ways they can get involved—and even had the chance to sign up for activities they’re interested in for next year!
Here’s to new beginnings, new friendships, and a future full of possibilities. 🌟

The District would like to recognize Mrs. Lisa Weidemoyer for her nomination for the Annie Sullivan Award. Mrs. Weidemoyer was recognized Wednesday evening at the Berks County Intermediate Unit ceremony. Mrs. Weidemoyer has been a dedicated teacher in our district for over 36 years, making a lasting impact on generations of students through her compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment. The Annie Sullivan Award honors educators who go above and beyond in supporting students with disabilities and fostering understanding, inclusion, and compassion within our schools and community. Lisa exemplifies these qualities every day. Her influence extends far beyond the classroom, shaping a culture of care and support throughout our district. We are incredibly proud to recognize Lisa for this well-deserved honor!

Students had a great time at the Jr. Girls in STEM event at Kutztown University! Throughout the day, they explored hands-on activities in biology, chemistry, engineering, computer science, environmental science, and more, including sessions with professionals from the St. Luke’s Innovation Center and Emergency Medicine. The experience gave students an exciting look at real-world STEM careers.
