The Virtual Academy's New Heights Award Winner for September is Madeline Roibu. Madeline exemplifies BHASD P.R.O.U.D. with her responsibility and adaptability as she successfully manages her hybrid schedule, which includes Virtual Academy courses and BHHS classes for music lessons and concert band. To that end, we are excited to share an opportunity to learn about these topics with our school community. Brandywine Heights Area School District in conjunction with the Brandywine Heights Education Foundation and are thrilled to host the New York Life Insurance Company and the Brian Dawkins Impact Foundation on September 26th at 6:30PM at the Brandywine Heights High School Auditorium. The Camp SPARK summer program is off to a fabulous start. Students are reading and participating in math activities related to the Around the Campfire theme. From marshmallow paintings to creating mini campfires, students have excitedly participated.

After senior students completed graduation practice this week, the ES & IS/MS held a senior sendoff to congratulate & wish our BHASD Graduates the best of luck in their future! We can't wait to see our senior students walk across the stage at graduation next week!
Virtual Academy students visited Lake Tobias Wildlife Park in Halifax, PA. We explored many wildlife habitats, took a Safari Tour, and loved the hands-on experiences at the Reptiles and Exotics, and the Petting Zoo.

Seniors Olivia Moyer and Maci Rohrbach led the Seedlings for Schools program for the Virtual Academy. We distributed 500 seedlings (white spruce, Norway spruce, ninebark, and silky dogwood shrubs) to High School students and staff. Happy Spring!

The Education Showcase and Mindfulness Night brought many families together as they explored different vendor booths, listened to live music, discovered BHASD's educational opportunities, and enjoyed fun activities throughout the night.
