The lost and found is accumulating more items. Please ask your child to check the lost and found in the cafeteria is they are missing a coat, hoodie, waterbottle, or lunchbox. These pics are shown on morning announcements and scroll on the TVs at school, but if you notice an item that belongs to your child, please let them know to look for it. Thank you for your help:)

The students in Mrs. Hook's science class had fun learning about the Rock Cycle using candy. They weathered three igneous rocks (airheads), turning them into sediment. That sediment then was dropped in layers and compacted, forming a sedimentary rock. Then the fun began...they students applied great pressure to the sedimentary rock and turned it into a metamorphic rock...which they could then enjoy as a tasty treat.

Mrs. Hook's 4th graders used the Design Process to try to create a paper airplane that would fly the farthest. They planned, designed, tested their prototypes, redesigned, and retested to see if their improvements worked. Students used critical thinking skills and very resilient as they problem solved through failure to improve their flight.
