On Tuesday, as a part of staff welcome back, the Brandywine Heights School District staff traveled to Antietam School District, which was devastated by recent flooding, to lend a helping hand, ensuring a smooth start to their school year. 4th Graders and New Students!!!! Stop by the IS/MS to practice opening your locker. Students can get familar with opening a locker, so they are more comfortable on the first day of school. Two opportunities for Locker Practice are Friday, August 11th from 3pm-5pm and Monday, August 14th from 9am-11am. A Meet and Greet with some of our school staff will follow at 11:30am.
Week two of Camp Spark has successfully launched off! The theme is Mission Impossible and students are participating in activities focused on space exploration and learning new facts. Some have made solar system models, galaxy replicas, and created and named planets.
Please join us in welcoming Emily Netterville as our new Assistant to the Athletic Director! Emily is ready to make a positive impact with our BHASD athletes, parents, and coaches, and we are excited to have her join our team.
We are days away from the start of Camp Spark! The teachers and staff can't wait to see all the campers on Monday, July 10th to begin our learning adventure!!!!!!

Students in Mrs. Williams' class took on the Pringle Stack Ring Challenge today. They were so determined!
Congratulations to all the 4th and 5th graders who received character awards this year! We are so proud of your efforts to practice good character when interacting with your peers and teachers! You are wonderful role models and represent BHASD well!!!!
After the senior students completed graduation practice this morning, the ES & IS/MS held a senior sendoff to congratulate & wish our BHASD Graduates the best of luck in their future! We hope to see everyone at Graduation next Wed, May 31st at Kutztown University Keystone Hall

Thank you to Mr. Hamm and some talented 5th graders for demonstrating to our 3rd grade students how to play the many woodwind and brass instruments that create a band. The 3rd graders had many great questions and we hope you found an instrument that you may want to learn to play next year.
So proud of our IS Girls on the Run team for finishing their 5K on the beautiful Penn State Berks campus. Congratulations to the students, running buddies, and coaches!
BHASD Food Happenings! This week students at the Intermediate School had Oven Baked Chicken Tenders & Tator Tots. Each meal was made complete with fruit, vegetables, and milk. Nice job, IS/MS team!
3rd graders had a fun day learning about the Intermediate School through an interactive scavenger hunt. Thank you to the student council members who were wonderful tour guides. cantvwait for our new students to join us in August!

The weather will be perfect for a night on the IS/MS field watching Inside Out! Munchiez Food Truck will be on site to provide some dinner options. Food starting at 6pm and the movie will start about 7:30pm. Can't wait to see you there!
