Dear Parents,
It is my pleasure to serve as the Principal of Brandywine Heights Elementary School. It is with great honor and pride that I continue with our dedicated faculty, staff, parents and students on this exciting journey as your principal. Communication between the school and your home is essential for a successful year for our children. Please make efforts to know your child’s teacher and their classroom expectations. Together we can make a difference.
I have been working in Brandywine Heights Area School District as a teacher and administrator for the past 16 years. I graduated from Kutztown University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education. I worked as a teacher in 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 5th grade levels. I have taught both regular education and special education while here. After earning my Master of Educational Leadership from Cabrini College where I also earned my Administrative Certification, I worked as an Assistant Principal at the Elementary, Intermediate and Middle School levels for 2 years prior to my role as Principal. I am dedicated to this district and continue to work as a team to enable students to strive for success in an ever-changing global society.
I really look forward to another great year here at Brandywine Heights, where I have become familiar and love everything about being a part of this district. Please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to know more about me! You can contact me through email (stekel@bhasd.org) or call the Elementary School at 610-682-5171.
Sincerely,
Ms. Stephanie Kelly
