This week BHASD recognizes our school nurses during NURSE WEEK! Thank you for all of you do from cleaning up scrapes and bruises, to attending meetings and field trips. Your compassion, caring demeanor and commitment is greatly appreciated!

Today is School Lunch Hero Day. This day is designed to honor our lunch ladies and gents for all that they do: preparing healthy meals, adhering to strict nutritional standards, navigating food allergies, and serving food with a smile!
Today we celebrate the difference that our school lunch professionals make every day for our children who come through the cafeteria!

BHASD Food Happenings!
At the High School this week, the ladies of the kitchen prepared a Buffalo Chicken Dip meal. Students choose from an assortment of sides and toppings. Great job, ladies!

9th grade students were invited to attend a field trip to Kutztown University today through a program called Berks Business and Education Coalition. Students learned about some of the admissions requirements for KU and were given a full campus tour.




Our AP Government and Politics Seniors attended the final leg of the Model Senate tour in Harrisburg today! Seniors Alex Gallina, Ashlyn Giadosh and Grace Leitgeb are representing Brandywine Heights and are pictured here. Students making a change we need to see! #bulletProud

HAPPY Plastic Free Lunch Day!
Students from schools in cities and towns all over the country
are reducing or eliminating plastic in their lunches today!
Today, BHASD cafeterias took part in the effort to reduce the use of plastics. Great Job, everyone!








Life skills students, unified athletes, and Friends Forever club members spent the day at Alvernia University exploring the many community based programs Special Olympics offers in our area. Students played bocce ball, floor hockey, soccer, Zumba, and other activities!
