First grade classes visited the Reading Public Museum on May 4th.
Students receive guided tours from museum educators about animal habits, ancient civilizations, Native Americans, and our favorite, DINOSAUR EXPLORER!
Dinosaur Explorer journeyed through the wildest, wackiest, and most wonderous dinosaurs and examined human physiology through the lens of these magnificent creatures. Whether it be feeding or family dynamics, intelligence or interpersonal relationships, Dinosaur Explorer asked: Where do we see similarities in our world today?
In the dinosaur exhibit, students were able to create dinosaurs to project onto a screen, create topographic images in sand, and dance like a dinosaur.
After lunch, in the planetarium lobby, students watched the show “Legends of the Night Sky” to learn about Orion, the great hunter.
Students spent the day enjoying time with their classmates and teachers. THANK YOU TO THE PTC FOR SPONSORING OUR TRIP!
