
On Friday, March 1, BHES students celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with stories and activities! PreK read Green Eggs and Ham, made fizzy green eggs, and built Seuss pictures with pattern blocks. Kindergarten read The Cat and the Hat, made slime, and built cup towers. First grade read The Lorax and built their own Truffula trees. Second grade read Bartholomew and the Oobleck and made oobleck. Third grade read Oh Say Can You Say What's the Weather today and made tornadoes in a bottle and anemometers. A big thank you to BHMS Student Council members for lending helping hands!











BHASD is holding the annual Educational Showcase and Mindfulness Family Night on April 18, 2024 at the High School from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Join us for a fun night filled with vendors, educational highlights, and activities.


Last week was National Breakfast Week, and we had a blast celebrating with fun themes and nutritious breakfast options in our school cafeterias! Thank you to our BHASD cafeteria staff who help us fuel each day with a healthy breakfast!










The 18th annual Music In Our Schools concert will be held tomorrow, March 9th at the BHHS Auditorium beginning at 3:00pm. This event is a district-wide showcase of our students’ musical talents and gives the audience the opportunity to witness the musical growth of students as they advance through the years. We encourage Brandywine families to relax, enjoy all performances, and stay for the day. We hope to see you there!

Mrs. Gangawere's students read Mr. Putter and Tabby Sees the Stars. They learned about things we can see in the night sky and worked together to research facts about the planets. Then they created a poster to present their facts. What a great tour of the solar system 2nd grade!











Mr. Naugle's 1st Grade technology classes did an animal research project on their favorite animal using Google & Google Images to collect pictures and relevant, basic info! 💻






Pre-K Price spent their afternoon celebrating all things Dr. Seuss! They began by watching Green Eggs and Ham and hearing all of the rhyming words! Then they created their own fizzing green eggs. Next, they worked on matching shapes to pictures with a Dr. Seuss theme using tangrams. Oh, the places you'll go in Pre-K!

Second grade started Seuss activities in library! Cat in the Hat Stacking, MYO Seuss Character, One Fish Two Fish Math, Seuss book scavenger hunt, and Fox in Socks Word Scramble!





Kindergartners are playing rhythm and steady beat on drums 🪘. They are also playing chords on bells 🔔. Second and third grade are practicing for the Night of Music Concert 🎶.








Working on spelling with your child at home? Try having them use a pop-it to pop the sounds and then write them! Check out the awesome writing of these first graders!! 📝🤩

The Cascade Brigade is proud to present the 3rd annual Night of the Arts this Friday, February 23rd in the HS Auditorium. Along with juggling there will be music, drama performances, and improv as well as displays of student work in art, graphics, woodshop, and engineering classes. It is a great opportunity to experience the talent in our district. There is no charge for admission and the evening begins at 7PM. We hope to see you there!


Mrs. Ohl’s class celebrated Chinese New Year. This celebration was in memory of Margaret Lau who shared her culture with many children while volunteering at our school. Dumpling making, a dragon parade, red envelopes, and eating with chopsticks were the celebration's highlights.
