Join us for a Family Fun Literacy and Math Night for students in grades K-5 on Thursday, December 1 from 6:00-7:30 PM at the Brandywine Heights Elementary School. 🏫
Bring a picnic blanket as we host a carnival in the cafeteria and gym! 🎪🎡There will be lots of fun to be had by all. Join us for fun reading and math activities, carnival games, popcorn, and cotton candy! 🤹♀️🍿All activities will run from 6:00-7:30.
We will also conduct our annual Title I Parent Informational Session during this event from 6:00-6:15 for parents and guardians of students currently receiving intervention support. The meeting will include an introduction of the intervention staff and an overview of the supports available for students this school year. If your child works with an intervention teacher, we recommend attending this meeting. Your involvement will contribute to the success of your child and the program.

Ms. Hoff's class performed the story of the first Thanksgiving today for their families. Great job kiddos!
Ms. Dirsa’s kindergarten had donuts with Mr. Geisel. He also read them a rhyming book and they found the rhyming words together!
Mrs. Long's 1st grade students had fun learning with the lights turned down low and using their flashlights. The also loved cuddling up with their cozy blanket from home. We are looking forward to more Flashlight Days this school year!

Kindergarten Explore Students built carnival rides with their STEAM Park LEGOs!
Third Grade students participated in Election Day today by voting for Pajama Day or Stuffed Animal Day. Representatives from each class made posters, checked in voters, and counted the ballots! 🇺🇸

We have been working hard in art class this week to finish some fall projects! Students have been painting leaves and texture monsters, drawing with contour lines, and blending two colors to create a tint! 🎨
Pumpkin Catapult Olympics in Mrs. Lewis’s 2nd Grade class! Students made their own catapults using rubber bands, spoons, pumpkin candy, and popscicles sticks. 🏆
October’s character trait we focused on was WORK ETHIC! Check out all students that were nominated for the #newHEIGHTS Work Ethic Award! We are SO PROUD of each of you! Thank you for being wonderful role models for others! 🥳
