🚔 Welcome, Officer Curcio! 🚔
At the March 3rd Board Meeting, we officially introduced Officer Anthony Curcio as Brandywine Heights' new School Safety and Security Officer!
Superintendent Mr. Potteiger highlighted Officer Curcio’s seamless transition into the school community, and with an extensive background in law enforcement, he brings experience, dedication, and a student-focused approach to the role.
Already making an impact, Officer Curcio has been building strong relationships with students and staff—from daily fist bumps to friendly games of basketball. His presence ensures that safety isn’t just about security measures, but also about fostering trust and positive connections.
We’re grateful to have Officer Curcio on our team and look forward to the continued impact he will make! 👏🔵 #BHASD #GoBullets #SchoolSafety

Addison has officially rewritten history, surpassing a 15-year record set by Deanna Daddona (1,253 points). Her dedication, skill, and relentless drive have set a new standard for Brandywine Heights basketball, inspiring future generations to reach for greatness.
🤼 Jacob Greiss – 100 Career Wins

Congratulations to Addison and Jacob on their remarkable accomplishments! 👏🎉 #BHASD #GoBullets

In Library Class, Kindergarten read author Karma Wilson's Hilda Must Be Dancing, and then had to follow directions in different songs.

🐐💋 Kissing for a Cause
FFA put a fun spin on giving back! Students collected canned goods, dropping them into boxes labeled with their teachers’ names. The catch? The three teachers with the most donations had to kiss a goat!!
Turns out, Mrs. Paxson, Mrs. Bollinger, and Mr. Strohecker were the lucky winners! (Or unlucky, depending on how you feel about goat smooches.)
Huge thanks to everyone who donated—your support made a difference, and the goat didn’t seem to mind the extra attention either! 🥫🐐

Quinn, one of our 3rd graders, and his Odyssey of the Mind team were awarded first place at the East Central Regional Odyssey of the Mind competition this past Saturday! The team competed in the "OMazing Race" problem, which required them to design and construct vehicles capable of navigating a course and completing specific tasks using unconventional power sources. This challenge emphasizes creative problem-solving and theatrical presentation. Quinn's team began practicing in October and demonstrated exceptional dedication throughout the process. Notably, the team is the youngest in their division, with members ranging in age from 7 to 9 years old, and comprises students from four different elementary schools. Congratulations, Quinn!
