Our next featured senior is Ceirra Sacks! Ceirra says: In the fall I will attend my dream college, Delaware Valley University of Animal Science & Pre-Vet. I will be studying the health, reproduction, and career fields of small & large animals and also livestock management. I plan on moving south and starting my own Veterinarian clinic for both small and large animals  My favorite high school memory was always messing around with the principals and having a great bond with them. I want to give a big shoutout to Ms. Angstadt for always being there for kids when they needed someone and always putting a smile on my face. Also, another shoutout to our two best principals! They have made me see the brighter side of certain things and always pushed me to do harder even though I never wanted to. I wouldn't be where I am today without them and my family pushing me!!

Our next senior we would like to highlight is Griffin Reppert. Griffin says: I have many future plans, but here are a few! I am attending Lebanon Valley College in the fall to major in Digital Communications and Creative Writing, with an Acting minor. I plan to go to Brown University for my Masters in Creative Writing, and I plan to publish my writing along the way. I also hope to act whenever I can, and get a job in the Digital Communications field.  My favorite high school memories are always the plays we put on in the Spring, and I loved our Evening of Comedy showcase last year!  I would like to give a shoutout to Shyanna and Ms. Walia for always guiding me and keeping me humble and allowing me to be myself.

Last week, four Brandywine Heights High School students participated in the Berks Senior County festival, which culminated in an outstanding concert on Saturday evening. Ellis Kline and Greta Kline participated in Sr. County Chorus, and Rachael Robinson and Madeline Roibu participated in Sr. County Band. Madeline Roibu was also in Sr. County Orchestra. Congratulations to these students for these achievements, and thank you for representing Brandywine with pride!

Mrs. Swartzentruber's Algebra 1 students are engaged in a Bungee Barbie activity where they learn how to use data to create a line of best fit and equations so that they can predict the accurate amount of bungee needed to keep the Barbie's safe! Great Job applying a real life aspect in connection with its mathematical concepts! #bulletProud

From now until graduation, we’d like to take the opportunity to highlight members of our senior class. We want to acknowledge the incredible things they have planned for post-graduation and reminisce on some of their favorite memories from their time at Brandywine Heights. First up, we have Taylar Merkel! In September I will be attending my dream school, the Delaware College of Art and Design. I will be studying photography. After receiving my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, I plan on starting my own photography business and going to school to become a photography teacher.  My favorite high school memory would have to be last year’s prom so far.  I would like to give a special shout out to Mr. Lundy and Mr. Rabenold. Both of you have helped me follow my dreams. Without the both of you, I would not have the confidence to have been doing everything I have been these past four years, and I am extremely grateful for the both of you.
