First graders performed concert songs for residents at the Lutheran home. It was a small group but they sang beautifully!

We have Kristen Apgar from Geist who kindly donated the coffee mugs that will be raffled at the Educational Showcase on April 18th! We also have Mr. Nick Ramsey who is a soccer coach, Sensei from Kutztown Martial Arts, Ms. Katie Kehm who is one of our cheer coaches, Mr, Brian Rose who is a train conductor, and Safety Net Sanctuary! Pre-K Price participated in the Bullet Academy Family Yoga sessions during the months of February and March. Each student had a wonderful time learning some new yoga poses, listening to stories, and stretching in new ways. Students learned how to calm their body and mind, while working cooperatively with their peers. It was a lot of fun!

Our Family Glow Dance is coming up this month! Friday, April 19th from 6-8pm. Join us in the ES gym for a fun evening dancing, taking pictures in the Christmas City photo booth, and getting free glow face painting! Entry is $6/family, or $5/family with a canned food donation that will go towards our community food pantry. Some light refreshments will be provided. Also, DonutNV food truck will be attending with their DELICIOUS donuts and lemonade for purchase!

Congratulations to Mrs. Kohler for being nominated for the Annie Sullivan Award! The BCIU held a heartfelt ceremony April 3rd to honor all nominees for their outstanding contributions and dedication to improve the lives of those with disabilities.
Hello ES Families!
I have scheduled FIRST GRADE ONLY to perform at the Lutheran Home at 6:00 on Monday, April 8 in Henry Auditorium, across the parking lot from the library. Please arrive at 5:50, and wear Orange PTC shirts and jeans if you have them. Park as close as you can to the auditorium, staff only spaces are fair game. Parents are expected to stay and watch the performance. In other words, this is not a drop off event. Try not to bring extra people, I am told it might be standing room only for parents because the residents will fill the room. I look forward to this wonderful performance, and I received 20 responses, so please spread the word and round up as many first graders as possible! Thanks for your support.
Second and third grade did not get enough interest, but thanks to those who volunteered.
