This year we will hold Red Ribbon Week October 28th - November 1st. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to show our school’s commitment to support drug free youth. At the elementary level, we will be focusing on making healthy and safe choices. Below you will find a schedule of the planned “spirit days.” REMINDER students are NOT to wear their Halloween costumes to school. They will get dressed in their classrooms before the parade.
We need your help to honor the incredible educators who make a difference in your child’s life every day. The Pennsylvania Department of Education is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Teacher of the Year award, and we encourage you to nominate a teacher who has positively impacted your family.
If you know a teacher who inspires, motivates, and supports students, please consider submitting a nomination by December 16, 2024. We would kindly ask that you notify ginobe@bhasd.org (Subject: PA Teacher of the Year NOMINATION) if you nominate one of our excellent staff. The District will be asked to provide follow up information and it would be helpful to know if one of our staff members are nominated in advance.
Let’s show our appreciation and celebrate the educators who make a lasting difference!
