The BHHS Student Council will be hosting its annual "Halloweentown" this Friday, 10/25, from 6 - 8pm at the high school. Bring out the family for some indoor trick-or-treating, crafts, games, and fun!
This year we will hold Red Ribbon Week October 28th - November 1st. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to show our school’s commitment to support drug free youth. At the elementary level, we will be focusing on making healthy and safe choices. Below you will find a schedule of the planned “spirit days.” REMINDER students are NOT to wear their Halloween costumes to school. They will get dressed in their classrooms before the parade.

Mrs. Rissmiller's second graders examined how large structures like houses are built from smaller pieces. They designed their own structures using index cards. They built tall towers and then strong towers. 🏠🗼

Bullet Academy Busy Bs at the Park - Today was a beautiful day to be outside enjoying Halloween activities, books, playtime, and pizza! Thank you to the families who attended!
The PreK students enjoyed doing Halloween yoga with Miss April.
Mrs. Levengood's 4th and 5th grade classes set up their very own AcuRite Iris Weather Station. This was provided to the class by the Civil Air Patrol STEM program. Students learned to program, calibrate, and discuss implementation plans with Mr. Molitoris. Their goal is to provide accurate weather reports for BBN and the building and grounds crew at BHASD.
There is an early dismissal next Friday, October 25th!

Yesterday, our amazing staff showed up in their Breast Cancer Awareness shirts to support one of our teachers as she began her treatment. While she’s facing a tough journey, she’s staying strong, and we’re standing with her every step of the way. Our thoughts are with her and her family, and we are so proud to be part of a community that lifts each other up in times like these. #BHASD #StrongerTogether #BreastCancerAwareness

Seventeen staff members spent Monday, October 14th getting certified in CPR, First Aid, Blood Pathogens, and Stop The Bleed. Thank you to Marc Wicke from Topton Ambulance for the amazing day of learning how to be prepared in an emergency to save a person's life.

In art class, students have been exploring the work of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama! They learned that she is the queen of polka dots and creates abstract paintings and sculptures that are always covered in dots! Students drew their own mushrooms, pumpkins and leaves and had fun with their favorite part...adding lots of dots! 🔴🎃🍂🍄
