We look forward to seeing everyone at the High School Boys Basketball game this evening, January 10th, against Kutztown High School. Not only will it be a great game, but there will be a fundraising event held to support the Harrison Family, who suffered a house fire on Christmas night. The following events will also occur throughout the night: Basket Raffle Half-Court Shot Attempt at Half Time Bake Sale Bullet Nation T-Shirt Sale Monetary donations will also be collected at the admissions table and concession stand. We want to ask anyone who has any pictures of the Harrison Family or with the Harrison family to bring a copy. The photos the community provides will allow us to create a photo book for the family. If you cannot attend the game but want to contribute photos to be printed, please email them to bhsportsboosterclub@gmail.com. Please consider donating to a family who has provided much time, support, and dedication to the Brandywine Heights Athletics and athletes. Harrison Family Fundraiser Event
BHHS Families, Scheduling season is upon us, and our high school team has started meeting with groups of students to aid in selecting courses for the next academic year. This course selection process is of utmost importance as it will dictate which courses will run next school year and which courses your student will be able to take. This is also your student’s opportunity to build a schedule that will serve their academic needs and put them on a pathway to success, not only during their time in high school, but also for what comes after graduation. Our MS and HS faculty have already input course recommendations into Infinite Campus for each student for their core courses for next year. All students have seen a scheduling presentation which outlines the scheduling process and how to select their courses. We are asking students to complete the paper scheduling sheet as well as the online scheduling piece in Infinite Campus. There will be a high school scheduling night for parents on 1/17 at 6:00pm in the High School Auditorium. This event is primarily for rising 9th grade students and parents, but everyone is welcome to attend. We ask that all 10-12th grade student scheduling sheets be signed by a parent and returned by 1/23 so that we can meet with students to verify requests. 9th grade student scheduling sheets are due 2/9. If you have any questions, please reach out to your student’s counselor.
