📢The news is out! Thanks to Friends of Brandywine, kids won’t go hungry this summer. This is what community looks like—showing up, stepping in, and feeding futures. Watch the story on 69 News: https://www.wfmz.com/news/area/berks/friends-show-up-to-help-berks-school-district-fill-funding-gap-for-summer-meal-program/article_f96fcb51-f8e6-4f72-b063-8ffe4b553968.html

When grant funding for our summer meal program ran out, Friends of Brandywine didn’t miss a beat.
They raised $40,000 (yes, forty thousand!) to keep the program going for the next two years—making sure our kids stay fed and cared for all summer long.
Their support means bellies that might’ve gone empty this summer will be full instead. 💛
This is what community looks like. When one door closes, our people build another—and hold it open for everyone.
We’re so lucky to be part of a place that shows up for its kids.
Thank you, Friends of Brandywine. We’re beyond grateful.
